Accommodation

At Evakona we want to ensure that our students are comfortable in their new surroundings. We have carefully assessed all of our accommodation options with their comfort and enjoyment in mind, and also in accordance with the provisions set forth in the Ministry of Education's Code of Practice.

Homestay

(Includes 3 meals a day)

Homestay living is a great experience and an important part of the English learning process. Communication with your homestay family will enhance your cultural experience and improve your English.

Our homestay families are carefully chosen, and students are monitored regularly to ensure their comfort and well-being.

International Lodge

International Student Hostel: For over 18 years old students only.

International Student Lodge NZ

Rent a room and enjoy the freedom and independence in this lovely and comfortable lodge with other international students and travellers. There is a shared kitchen (fully equipped), a lounge & bathrooms (some rooms have their own private bathroom). No meals are included. House / Flat / Apartment

For students over 18 years old only

HouseForRent It is even possible to rent a complete house with a garden or a nice apartment by the beach for your own use. Fully furnished and ready for you to move in. Another great way to experience real New Zealand life style while keeping your independence.

Combination

Another option, which is very popular among our students, is to stay with a host family for the first few weeks, and then move into your own place.
