Activities FAQs

Do the teachers join in the activities too?

Yes. One or more teachers will join every activity depending on the size of the group.

Can I go snow boarding or skiing in Whitianga or Thames?

Not in Whitianga or Thames, the climate is too mild. During winter months (June to September) winter sport is possible on Mt Ruapehu which is in the central North Island, about 3-4 hours drive from here. We can help you to organise a weekend trip.

Can I choose the activities that I would like to do?

Yes, if you have booked an activity course with privately arranged activities. Please tell us about your plans before the start of your course, so we can organise this for you. If you join the Friday afternoon activities as part of the English course, activities will change every week. The longer you stay, the more different activities you can try!
