Course FAQs

Who are my teachers?

  • Evakona teachers are highly qualified and experienced teachers of English as a foreign language. They are very friendly and enthusiastic and interested in having a good relationship with the students.

Is Evakona closed for school holidays?

  • Yes, only for Christmas Holidays. Check the exact dates on the School Calendar page.

Can I continue studying after my course has finished?

  • Generally yes. We will help you with your visa application if necessary.

Can I change my class?

  • Yes. If you think that you are not the same level as the rest of the class we will re-assess your English abilities.

How old are the students?

  • Most of them are aged between 16 and 30, but we get many older students too, and sometimes younger ones.

Where are the students from?

  • Our students come from all over the world. Most of them come from Asian countries (especially Japan). Other countries include mainly European, Middle Eastern and South American countries.

How many students are there in a class?

  • The average class size is 5 to 7 students. There will never be more than 10 students in one class. A small class means that you get more personal attention and learn more.
