At Evakona, we ensure that ALL students receive first class service and support as well as professional English language instruction. We also recognise that some students may require additional support in order to settle in and become accustomed to life and their studies in New Zealand. That is why we offer two optional care packages for the safety and comfort of our students.
We highly recommend that students who are under 18 years of age apply for EvaCare. There are two options: EvaCare Option A is FULL care and Option B is PARTIAL care. See the details below.
EvaCare A – Full Care
Evakona will provide:
- Management of the student’s bank account, pocket money and day to day expenses.
- Regular counselling, discipline, guidance and reporting to the student’s family.
- Monitoring and interviewing regularly for homestay accommodation.
- Close consultation with homestay family.
- Regular liaison between the students, the school, the host families and the student’s parents.
- Monitoring of school reports and translation for the benefit of the parents.
- Health care with referral to health professionals as required.
- Assistance with arranging air travel, tickets and transfers.
- Assistance with visa arrangements.
- Supervision of placement in further education, universities, jobs, etc.
EvaCare B – Partial Care
Evakona will provide:
- Support to open a student’s bank account.
- Private counselling and guidance where necessary.
- Liaison between student and host family where necessary.
- Referral to health professionals as required.
- Assistance with arranging air travel, tickets and transfers.
- Assistance with visa arrangements.
- Supervision of placement in further education, universities, jobs, etc.
